Eating healthy can be hard, but we all know we need to try. If you’ve been giving yourself the excuse that you can’t eat healthy because you can’t afford a $400 Vitamix blender then this article is for you. Believe it or not, the best blenders under $100 can get most blending jobs done almost as well as the more expensive models.
How to choose a good blender under $100?
It’s all about research and trust. Brands with a long history of great customer service, awesome features, and of course efficient blending power can get you on the road to healthy eating with a very small price tag. If you pick a reliable brand, you can buy a solid blender for $100 or less that will last you for years to come.
Below, I’ve done the research for you and collected the best of the best blenders for under $100. Whether you need a countertop model to show off in your kitchen or a small and discrete blender to carry with you on trips, I’ve got something listed here that will blow your mind without blowing your bank account. Select your desired type of blender and I’ll show you the best affordable blenders in both categories:
The Best Blenders Under $100
1. Ninja Professional Blender | Best Choice
The Ninja Professional has been around for quite some time but is still one of the best-selling budget blenders up to this date. Don’t let the low price fool you, this blender is versatile and is powered by a strong 1100-watt motor. For me, it’s the best blender under $100.
The Ninja comes with a large 72 oz pitcher, as well as two 16 oz Nutri Ninja Cups with fitting lids.
You can make single-serve smoothies and shakes right in these smaller cups and take them with you on the go. You get a full-size countertop blender, as well as a personal blender in one device.
The Ninja is powerful for the low price it sells for!
Six blades power through the ingredients and fruit smoothies turn out very smooth. The 72 oz works great for simple smoothies, but it when it comes to green smoothies, the results aren’t quite as good. Green smoothies aren’t as smooth as they could be.
If you’re a fan of perfect green smoothies, I would use the single-serve containers instead. The blades of the smaller cups are better suited for the job, especially if you’re blending a lot of leafy greens.
When it comes to ice nothing can beat a Ninja! It even crushes ice without adding any liquids.
This blender comes with what Ninja calls “Total Crushing Technology”. The blades are specially designed for the job. It’s unbelievable how fast this blender crushes ice cubes into a snow-like consistency. It creates frozen smoothies or margaritas in seconds.
The Ninja comes with three manual speeds, a pulse function, as well as a single-serve blending function. The blades are detachable and everything cleans up easily.
Watch a full review of the Ninja Professional:
- Comes with a large 72 oz jar, as well as two smaller 16 oz smoothie cups.
- You can blend single-serve smoothies directly in the 16 oz containers.
- The strong 1100-watt motor is powerful and pulverizes even tough ingredients.
- The Ninja Professional crushes ice into snow like no other blender in this price range.
- Removable plastic parts are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.
- The 1100-watt motor is noisy.
- The lid of the 72 oz jar is hard to get off sometimes.
- Some users reported cracking of the plastic jar after several months of usage.
- The warranty is short at only 1 year.
- Blades are razor sharp, you’ve got to be cautious while cleaning the blade assembly.
Overall Opinion: When it comes to value for the money, nothing can beat a Ninja. For the fraction of the price of other high-speed blenders, you get a powerful motor and a well thought through blade design. The Ninja Professional is both a countertop blender, as well as a single-serve blender. The 16 oz cups come with a secure travel lid and have the perfect size for your smoothies on the go.
2. Vanaheim KB64 | Best Vitamix Alternative
The Vanaheim is a brand-new budget blender that looks just as professional as the classical Vitamix models. It comes with a super powerful 1450-watt motor and a large 64 oz container. It’s one of the strongest and best blenders under $100.
I not only love the incredibly powerful 2.25 horsepower motor, but also the built-in timer and the pre-programmed settings.
There are nine presets you can choose from.
No matter if you want to make smoothies, crush ice, create healthy soups, nut butter, or delicious frozen desserts, this blender will get it done. Just like some high-end blenders that cost $400 and more, it has an automatic self-cleaning function. How cool is that?
You just press one button and it automatically goes through different blending cycles, creating flawless results every single time. The built-in timer shows you the precise blending time. There’s absolutely no guesswork involved.
In addition to the presets, the manual speed dial gives you complete control over your blend. The Vanaheim is very stable, even in high-speed settings.
The 1450-watt motor spins the blades at a fast speed of up to 28,000 RPM. It powers through even the toughest ingredients like leafy greens, large amounts of ice, and nuts. It pulverizes the tiniest seeds without much residues left. It doesn’t heat up cold ingredients to a hot soup as a Vitamix can, but you can still make soups by adding hot ingredients to the jar.
Cleaning a blender has never been easier!
With a drop of dish soap and some warm water, this blender can clean itself. Just add the water to the jar and choose the automatic cleaning function. It will get the job done in less than a minute. Then pour out the water and quickly rinse off all parts. It’s really that easy.
- The 1450-watt motor is incredibly powerful for a blender that costs less than $100.
- Comes with nine presets for smoothies, nut butter, crushing ice, frozen desserts, and many more.
- Noise level is acceptable for a high-speed blender.
- Just like some high-end blenders, it comes with an automatic self-cleaning function.
- The built-in timer shows the precise blending time.
- Comes with beautiful orange LED backlights.
- Crushes ice like a champ.
- A smoothie recipe book is included.
- Comes with a 2-year warranty (Amazon accidentally shows a 3-year warranty).
- Use caution while cleaning the blades, they’re super sharp.
- It’s pretty tall and won’t fit under most kitchen cabinets.
Overall Opinion: What a beast! It’s cheaper than most other professional blenders but works almost as well. It’s as powerful as blenders that cost double and three-times as much. The 1400-watt motor makes quick work of everything you throw at it. Once you’ve owned a professional blender, you’ll never go back to a weaker standard model.
3. Oster Pro 1200 | Budget Blender with Glass Jar
Oster has been around for ages, manufacturing affordable blenders for 70 years now. The Oster Pro 1200 is one of their more powerful models. It is fitted with a strong 1200-watt motor and dual direction blades. It comes with seven manual speeds, as well as three pre-programmed settings.
Just like the Ninja Professional, this blender comes with both a larger jar, as well as a smaller cup for smoothies. The 48 oz jar is made of thick borosilicate glass, making it one of the few glass blenders available on the market today. The glass jar won’t leach any nasty chemicals into your smoothies and give this blender a premium feel.
You can blend your single-serve smoothies right in the 24 oz to-go cup and take your smoothies with you everywhere you go. There’s no need to refill your drinks after blending, as the smoothie cup comes with a lid. Be careful when carrying the smoothie cup in your bag, however. Some users reported the smaller cup is prone to spilling.
The 1200-watt motor is powerful enough for green smoothies. It creates excellent results if you give it the proper time it needs. It crushes everything smoothly and even blends harder ingredients, leaving no remaining bits.
The motor isn’t as strong as a Vitamix or Blendtec, but it’s sufficient for most blending tasks. If a Vitamix needs 30 seconds for a task, the Oster might need a minute for the same task, but eventually, the results are almost as perfect.
A feature that makes Oster blenders stand out is their durable all-metal drive that is covered by a 10-year warranty. Oster claims this drive will outlast competitors plastic drives by far. It is tested to blend up to 10,000 smoothies without any problems.
Talking about smoothies…
The Oster 1200 comes with a pre-programmed smoothie function. Just put all your favorite ingredients into the jar, push one button, and let the Oster do its thing. It automatically goes through a series of blends, pauses, and pulses. The dual direction motor changes the direction of the blades every few seconds to pulverize all the ingredients. Once done, the blender stops on its own.
The smoothie function works flawlessly for simple fruit smoothies. For green smoothies, you might want to let it run a second time to get the best results. The Oster Pro 1200 comes with three presets in total, the other two are for milkshakes and salsa and work just as well.
In addition to the automatic programs, you can always choose the manual mode. There are three manual speeds, as well as a simple pulse function. All buttons are clearly labeled and self-explanatory, making the Oster one of the easier blenders to use.
- One of the few blenders on the market with a glass jar.
- The powerful 1200-watt motor is sufficient for most blending tasks.
- Comes with a generous 10-year warranty on the all-metal drive, and a 3-year warranty on all remaining parts.
- Three convenient pre-programmed functions, including a preset for smoothies.
- I love the glass jar, but it’s heavier and breaks more easily than a simple plastic jar.
- The included smoothie cup is prone to spilling.
- Some users reported the jar starts leaking after a while.
General Opinion: The durable glass jar and the strong 1200-watt motor make the Oster 1200 one of the best blenders under $100. It comes with three convenient presets that take away all the guesswork. Simply press one button and you can walk away while your blender does all the work for you!
4. KitchenAid KSB1570SL | Affordable & Beautiful
The KitchenAid KSB1570SL is a classic 5-speed blender. It might not be as powerful as some of the high-powered blenders available today, but it’ll get most blending jobs done. It comes with a 550-watt motor and a 56 oz pitcher. For me, it’s one of the most beautiful blenders on the market today. The clean-looking control panel wipes down easily and comes with a beautiful blue LED light.
You really won’t need the instructions to operate this blender. There are buttons for the five manual speeds, a pulse button, as well as a setting for crushing ice. Every button is clearly labeled and self-explanatory.
What makes this blender stand out from the other blenders is the well thought out blade design.
The KitchenAid creates a powerful vortex that really pulls down the ingredients into the blades. Everything gets chopped and blended quickly and thoroughly. You can easily add more ingredients even while the blender is running. The smoothies this blender creates are really smooth and there are no chunks. For a 550-watt blender, this KitchenAid blender does an excellent job.
Watch how the KitchenAid performs crushing ice and making smoothies:
- The jar and blade design create a powerful vortex and pull down everything nicely.
- One of the cleanest-looking blenders on the market.
- The KitchenAid is quieter than most blenders.
- The easy control panel is user-friendly.
- The carafe is lightweight and dishwasher safe.
- Unfortunately, you can’t remove the blade for easy cleaning.
- Some users report rust spots on the blades after a while.
- Doesn’t come with any pre-programmed settings.
- The 550-watt motor might burn out more quickly than a more powerful motor. Always add liquids to your blend.
- The blender is quite tall.
Overall Opinion: This blender doesn’t come with a super strong motor, but it doesn’t need one either. It is so designed that all ingredients get blended nicely. It comes with a beautiful, clean-looking design and is relatively quiet. The simple control panel is easy to keep clean and makes it one of the easiest-to-use blenders.
5. Hamilton Beach Power Elite | Budget Pick
The Hamilton Beach Power Elite is one of the most inexpensive blenders available. It’s fitted with a 700-watt motor and a 40 oz glass jar. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles more expensive blenders have, but it’s a decent standard blender.
The Hamilton Beach comes with a simple four-button control panel and twelve blending speeds. It has all the power you need for delicious fruit smoothies, milkshakes, or frozen drinks. The Hamilton Beach Power Elite even crushes ice, if you add enough liquids. If you want to crush dry ice, I would go for a more powerful ice crushing blender.
This blender comes with what Hamilton Beach calls Wave-Action System. Now, what does that mean?
It’s a patented system that continuously pulls all ingredients down into the blades. It gives you smoother results with less unprocessed chunks.
See the Wave-Action System in action:
- One of the most affordable blenders on the market.
- Wave-Action System continuously pulls all ingredients down and blends thoroughly.
- Makes delicious fruit smoothies and shakes.
- One of the few blenders with a glass jar.
- Comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
- The 40 oz container might be too small for some users.
- I love glass jars, but they’re heavier than plastic pitchers.
- It does crush ice with added liquids but struggles with dry ice.
- Not powerful enough to create perfect green smoothies.
- Not as durable as more expensive blenders.
Overall Opinion: The Hamilton Beach Power Elite is one of the most affordable blenders on the market. It might not be the most powerful blender out there, but it gets most jobs done. If you’re in need of a good blender under $100 for simple blending jobs, this best-selling model is a decent option.
6. Oster 6812-001 | Durable Glass Jar
Just like the Hamilton Beach Power Elite, this Oster blender is another budget blender. It’s a classic 16-speed blender with a 700-watt motor. It comes with a durable all-metal drive and a high-quality 40 oz glass jar.
This Oster model is super easy to use. There aren’t that many buttons and everything is self-explanatory. There aren’t any presets, just a few manual speeds and all buttons are clearly labeled. Sometimes simple is best.
This blender is great for fruit smoothies and simple shakes. It won’t liquify leafy greens like a $500 blender can, but it handles a few leaves of spinach here and there well. It’s powerful enough to turn ice cubes into snow cones. Always make sure to add some liquids, as the motor isn’t strong enough to blend dry ingredients.
- I love the durable boro class glass jar.
- The chrome finish looks gorgeous.
- It’s quieter than most blenders.
- Crushes ice with added liquids and even grinds flour.
- 10-year warranty on the all-metal drive.
- This blender seems more durable than most other cheap blenders.
- Just like the Hamilton Beach, this blender won’t work well for green smoothies.
- The glass pitcher is heavy.
- The 40 oz jar is quite small.
Overall Opinion: The Oster 6812-001 is a good blender at a reasonable price. The motor is strong enough for most blending tasks. If you’re a fan of simple shakes and fruit smoothies, this blender will serve you right.
Best Personal Blenders Under $100
1. Nutri Ninja BL456 | Best Choice
The Nutri Ninja is the best personal blender under $100. It comes with a powerful 900-watt motor and two jars made of durable, thick plastic. The 24 oz and 18 oz jars have the perfect size to take them with you everywhere you go. They come with secure travel lids and won’t leak.
This compact single-serve blender is the perfect addition to your countertop blender. The 900-watt motor powers through the toughest ingredients. It creates perfect green smoothies and even works for more difficult blending jobs like grinding seeds.
When it comes to crushing ice, nothing can beat the Nutri Ninja!
The blades of the Ninja are so designed that they crush ice like no other personal blender in this price range. The strong motor does quick work of ice cubes and crushes the ice into snow in seconds. You won’t need to add any liquids to let the Ninja perform its magic.
See how the Nutri Ninja crushes ice:
- Less expensive than the equivalent Nutribullet Pro.
- The 900-watt motor is strong enough for green smoothies.
- Crushes ice into a snow-like consistency like no other personal blender in this price range.
- Comes with two durable, thick plastic containers in different sizes.
- Additional replacement cups of all kind in different sizes are available.
- The Nutri Ninja is very durable. I have been using mine for years and it’s still going strong.
- There’s no hands-free feature, you have to hold down the jar while blending.
- The motor is quite noisy.
- Not quite as portable as some of the personal blenders with a weaker motor.
- Warranty is short at only one year.
Overall Opinion: When it comes to value for the money, nothing can beat a Nutri Ninja. There’s nothing this affordable personal blender won’t blend. It even crushes ice cubes into a fine snow-like consistency in seconds. The included Nutri Ninja cups come with secure lids and have the perfect size for your on the go smoothies. You blend directly inside the cup, and there’s no need to refill your drinks after blending.
2. NutriBullet 600 Series | Runner-Up
The Nutribullet is the best-selling blender worldwide, but is it really the best personal blender under $100? I don’t think so.
Let me explain why.
First of all, the 600-watt version of the Nutribullet costs roughly the same as the Nutri Ninja. That’s 300 watts less of blending power than the Nutri Ninja has. It doesn’t blend leafy greens, nuts, and seeds as thoroughly as the Ninja does. If you want the stronger 900-watt version, the Nutribullet Pro, it will cost you almost twice as much as the Nutri Ninja.
All Nutribullets struggle crushing ice.
Don’t get me wrong. You can add ice cubes to your smoothies and shakes and the Nutribullet will do just fine. The 600-watt motor is pretty powerful for a personal blender, and it will make quick work of it.
However, when it comes to crushing ice without adding any liquids, things get ugly.
The motor is powerful enough, but the blades of the Nutribullet just aren’t designed for the job. It won’t crush dry ice into snow like a Nutri Ninja can, no matter what you do. You’ll always have to add some form of liquid so that the blades can get a grip on it.
Now, after all the negatives, let’s get to what I like about this all-time favorite of so many.
First of all, I love the hands-free function. You won’t have to push down the jar while blending and can walk away while the Nutribullet is creating healthy drinks for you. I really miss this feature on my Nutri Ninja.
If you don’t care about the high price tag, and you don’t need crushed ice, the Nutribullet is actually a decent personal blender.
It gets most jobs done and is super easy to use. It comes with a lot of accessories. Two blades, one large 32 oz cup, as well as two smaller 18 oz cups.
The Nutribullet makes it easy to ingest more of the “good stuff”.
It effortlessly extracts the goodness from whole fruits and veggies. Nothing is wasted. It’s an easy and affordable way to sneak some veggies in your kids’ diet. Every device that helps us living healthier is a good device. Millions of people worldwide love the Nutribullet as it helps them to live a fuller, healthier life with more energy.
The Nutribullet is compact and doesn’t take up much space.
It fits even in the smallest kitchens. It’s even small enough to be a great travel companion. You can take it with you everywhere you go and enjoy fresh smoothies no matter where you are.
Also, a Nutribullet is not like a juicer.
Although I love to juice, I hat the cleaning part. If you’ve ever owned a juicer, you’ll know why most people start juicing and stop after a while. Even the easier-to-clean juicers are a pain to keep clean. A Nutribullet is different!
Just add some warm water, and a drop of dish soap to the jar, and let it run for a few seconds. Then rinse off all parts under running water and you’re done. It’ll only take you a minute. It makes it much easier to do stick with it every day.
- Comes with a convenient hands-free function.
- The strong 600-watt motor gets most blending jobs done.
- The compact size makes it a good travel blender.
- Almost the same price as the Nutri Ninja.
- Weaker motor compared to the Nutri Ninja.
- The Nutribullet doesn’t crush dry ice.
Overall Opinion: The Nutribullet is loved by millions of people around the world, but when it comes to value for the money, the Nutri Ninja is the better choice.
3. Nutri Ninja BL480D with Auto IQ | The Smart One
By now you should already know that I’m a big fan of the Nutri Ninjas. I was super excited when Ninja announced this newer model of my all-time favorite a few years ago. It comes with a strong 1100-watt motor and two Nutri Ninja cups in different sizes.
This Nutri Ninja BL480D model now features Auto IQ.
Auto IQ? What does that even mean?
“Ninja’s Auto IQ technology are intelligent pre-programmed settings that combine pulsing, blending and pausing patterns.”
What it basically means is that you press a single button and the Ninja does all the work for you. You won’t have to guess when to pulse, how long to blend and when to stop. Simply press one button and walk away while this blender does it for you.
There are two Auto IQ settings you can choose from; Blend and Ultra Blend. Use the Blend mode for simple fruit smoothies, and the Ultra Blend for your green smoothies that need more blending power.
What I also love about this model is the built-in digital timer!
It shows you exactly how much time is left on your selected Auto IQ program, or counts up when you’re using the manual mode.
There is nothing the powerful 1000-watt motor won’t do. You can crush ice, and make perfect green smoothies and frozen drinks. It even grinds flour and coffee beans like a champ.
It’s not the smallest personal blender out there, but the Nutri Ninja BL480D is small enough to fit in your luggage while you’re traveling.
It allows you to continue having a healthy start to your day, even when you’re on the road. You can drink your shakes and smoothies directly out of the Nutri Ninja cups after blending. They both come with secure travel lids that won’t leak when you carry them in your bag. If you love fresh smoothies on the go, check out my extensive review of the best travel blenders.
- The 1000-watt motor is even more powerful than the classic Nutri Ninja.
- Comes with two cups and lids in different sizes.
- Features intelligent Auto IQ programs.
- Runs hands-free, you can do other kitchen tasks while this blender does the work for you.
- I love the built-in digital timer.
- Crushes ice like a champ.
- Getting Started Guide with helpful tips and delicious smoothie recipes is included.
- The 1100-watt motor is loud.
- Warranty is short at only one year.
Overall Opinion: The Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ is one of the best blenders under $100. It runs hands-free and comes with pre-programmed settings that take away all the guesswork. The 1000-watt motor is one of the most powerful motors you will ever find in a small single-serve blender. It makes quick work of leafy greens, ice cubes, nuts, and seeds and creates perfect green smoothies.
4. Hamilton Beach 51101AV | Budget Pick
The Hamilton Beach 51101AV is one of the most inexpensive personal blenders available today. It comes with a 175-watt motor and a 14 oz travel cup. It’s clear It’s small size, relatively low noise, and cheap price, make it the perfect travel blender.
It might not be the most powerful personal blender out there, but it gets most jobs done. It comes with convenient one-touch operation and makes great shakes and fruit smoothies. You blend and drink directly from the cup; there’s no need to take extra cups with you when you’re traveling.
The 175-watt motor handles small amounts of crushed ice, frozen fruits, and chopped veggies well. It struggles, however, to blend mostly green smoothies. Leafy greens are some of the toughest ingredients for any blender, and the Hamilton Beach simply lacks the blending power needed for this kind of job.
If you like quiet blenders, you’ll love the Hamilton Beach.
It’s one of the quietest blenders out there! You can make smoothies any time of the day and won’t disturb anyone. It’s even quiet enough to use in the office without drawing too much attention. Some users compare the sound of the Hamilton Beach to an electric pencil sharpener. If you want to keep your kitchen activities quiet, check out our extensive review of the best quiet blenders.
- The Hamilton Beach 51101AV is very inexpensive.
- Its small size and cheap price make it a great travel blender.
- It’s one of the quietest personal blenders available.
- Comes in five beautiful colors.
- Compared to other personal blenders, the 175-watt motor is weak.
- Cutting blades are not detachable.
Overall Opinion: The Hamilton Beach 51101AV is one of the cheapest personal blenders available today. It’s not the most powerful blender out there, but it’s strong enough for healthy fruit smoothies and delicious shakes.
5. Aicok Smoothie Blender | 1200-Watt Beast
Aicok is taking the juicer and blender market by storm. They manufacture some of the best masticating juicers at the fraction of the cost of its competitors. With the Aicok Smoothie Blender, they now entered the compact personal blender market.
This beast comes with an incredibly powerful 1200-watt motor. That’s more blending power than the latest Nutri Ninja models have. The motor spins the blades at a fast 28,000 RPM and pulverizes whole fruits and veggies in seconds.
The strong 1200-watt motor is designed to liquefy anything you throw at it.
The Aicok won’t have any difficulties pulverizing even rock hard avocado pits into a healthy, delicious smoothie. If you’ve ever wondered if it’s safe to blend avocado pits, check out this article we’ve written about this topic.
If you want to make smoothies without having to stop and shake the jar, you’ll love the intelligent programs this blender has.
Just like the Nutri Ninja with Auto IQ, the Aicok comes with two presets. The Blend and Extra Blend mode make creating perfect smoothies so much easier!
You press a single button and it starts blending, stops after a few seconds to let the ingredients settle, and then starts blending again. It combines the perfect amount of blending, pausing, and pulsing patterns for your shakes and smoothies.
It goes through different blending cycles for 60 seconds in the Extra Blend mode and for 45 seconds in the Blend mode. For your green smoothies, I would always choose the more thorough Extra Blend mode.
The built-in digital timer shows you the remaining blending time for each program. If you switch to the manual mode, the timer counts up.
The Aicok comes with two large smoothie cups in different sizes. The bigger 35 oz cups are great for home use, and the smaller 28 oz cup is the perfect cup for your smoothies on the go. They both come with secure spout lids and are dishwasher safe.

- It’s one of the more expensive personal blenders under $100.
- The motor is loud.
- Has a bigger motor base than most portable blenders.
Overall Opinion: What a powerful blender this is. The 1200-watt motor pulverizes even the toughest ingredients in seconds. It comes with two intelligent pre-programmed settings that makes creating perfect smoothies so much easier. The Aicok does all the work for you, while you’re doing something else.
Are the Best Blenders Under $100 as Good as a Vitamix?
The best blenders under $100 might not be as strong as a Vitamix, but they’re perfectly fitted for most blending tasks.
If you don’t own a juice bar or are a blending addict, you really don’t need a commercial blender like a Blendtec or a Vitamix. Commercial blenders are more durable and come with extended warranties, but for most home users they’re overkill.
The Vanaheim KB64 Professional is a good Vitamix alternative, that gets most jobs done. The motor won’t heat up cold ingredients to warm soup, as a Vitamix can, but it does everything else. It might take a minute longer for the job than a commercial blender, but the results are almost the same.
When it comes to built quality and durability, nothing can beat a Vitamix.
They’re built in the US and come with warranties that last longer than some marriages. The powerful motors of a commercial blender won’t burn out as quickly as the ones of a cheaper alternative blender. However, if you pick a trusted brand, you can get a good blender for under $100 that will last for many years to come. For the price of just one Vitamix, you’ll get 5-6 decent Vitamix alternative blenders. The choice is yours.
What Is the Best Blender for Smoothies Under $100?
Everyone is different!
What YOUR best cheap blender for smoothies is, really depends on your budget and needs. If you make a lot of green smoothies, you’ll need more blending power than for simple fruit smoothies. The stronger the motor, the more the blender usually costs. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
All the blenders listed here are good affordable blenders that have enough power for fruit smoothies. So, if you’re only going to blend a few bananas, apples, and strawberries once in a while, the choice is yours. All blenders will get this job done and create excellent results. For making perfect green smoothies, however, you’ll need a high-powered blender.
What Is the Best Cheap Blender for Green Smoothies?
The best affordable green smoothie blender under $100 is either the Vanaheim KB64 Professional or the Ninja Professional.
The Ninja comes with a strong 1100-watt motor, a large jar, as well as smaller smoothie cups. It handles even tough ingredients like ice, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds well. The included single-serve cups blend leafy greens more efficiently than the large jar. So, if you’re a fan of perfect green smoothies, I would always use the smaller cups.
The Vanaheim KB64 Professional is even more powerful than the Ninja. It’s fitted with a strong 1450-watt motor. It’s hard to find a more powerful and better blender under $100 than this one. It not only looks like a Vitamix, but it’s almost quite as fast.
The motor spins the blades at a fast 28,000 RPM and pulverizes leafy greens in seconds. The Vanaheim comes with nine presets, including one for smoothies. You press one button and this blender creates the most perfect smoothies for you without you having to do anything.
If you want to spend a bit more than $100, the Ninja Chef, the Ninja Smart Screen Duo, as well as the Cleanblend Commercial Blender are excellent choices. For more information, see the best blenders for green smoothies.
What Is the Best Affordable Blender for Nut Butter?
Let’s be honest here, you’ll need a powerful blender for making nut butter. The best blenders for nut butter are either a Vitamix or a Blendtec. If you want the best results, there’s no way around them. But what about those of us that can’t afford a $400 blender?
There are good alternative blenders available that get the job done almost quite as well.
Cheaper blenders won’t be as fast as a Vitamix, and the nut butter won’t be quite as creamy. Don’t get discouraged, however. Some of the best affordable blenders for nut butter do quite well and deliver good results.
When it comes to the best blender for nut butter under $100, nothing can beat the Vanaheim KB64 Professional. It comes with a powerful 1450-watt motor, built-in timer, and presets. It not only looks like a Vitamix, but it also can do most blending tasks usually only more expensive blenders can do.
The Vanaheim comes with a pre-programmed setting for nut butter. Fill in the nuts, add a bit of liquid, and choose the automatic nut butter setting. It will go through various blending cycles and makes the most delicious nut butter for you.
What Is the Best Blender for Crushing Ice Under $100?
Almost every Ninja blender is a great budget blender for crushing ice. Ninja blenders come with what Ninja calls “Total Crushing Technology”. The blades are so designed that they, in combination with a powerful motor, crush ice into a snow-like consistency in seconds.
Ninja blenders are more affordable than a Vitamix or a Blendtec, but not every Ninja costs less than $100. The best blender under $100 for crushing ice is the Ninja Professional. The six blades make quick work of ice cubes. You’ll be amazed how quickly it turns even large amounts of ice into snow.

What Is the Best Budget Personal Blender for Ice?
Crushing ice is one of the most challenging tasks for any blender. You’ll need a strong, durable motor and sharp, ice crushing blades for this kind of job. When it comes to affordable ice crushing personal blenders, there’s one blender that stands out.
You’ve guessed it, it’s a Ninja once again.
The Nutri Ninja is the best budget personal blender for crushing ice, there’s no doubt about it. Just like the countertop Ninja blenders, this small beast does the job like no other blender in this price range. If you’re not a fan of the Nutri Ninja, the Aicok 1200-watt Smoothie Blender does a similarly good job crushing ice.
These were some of the best blenders under $100. All of the cheap blenders listed here are powerful enough to create delicious fruit smoothies and shakes. Some of these blenders come with a stronger motor and more durable blades than others. For more difficult blending tasks like making green smoothies and crushing ice, I would choose a blender with at least 600 watts of blending power.
