Best Blender with a Glass Jar

The 11 Best Blenders with a Glass Jar in 2020

In the good old days, all blender jars used to be made out of durable and thick glass. How times have changed! Most of the blenders on the market today are blenders with plastic jars. If you’re searching for a good glass blender, there really aren’t that many options out there. In this article, I’ve done the research for you and found the best blenders with a glass jar.

Why would you choose a blender with a glass jar?

Glass jar blenders might be a healthier and safer choice for you and your family. Certain plastics just aren’t safe for food contact. A glass container, on the other hand, will never leach nasty chemicals into your blend.

A glass jar is also “cleaner” than plastic jars. The glass surface won’t absorb food smells and germs and you can wash it at high temperatures without any issues. Glass pitchers won’t stain as plastic jars can.

Sadly, the plastic jar of my expensive Vitamix just doesn’t look very well after a few years of usage. That won’t happen to you with a glass jar blender. Also, most glass blenders handle hot liquids like Bulletproof coffee or hot soups better than their plastic counterparts.

There are also a few disadvantages to glass jars. They’re heavier and more difficult to move around than plastic. There’s a reason why high-speed blenders like Vitamix and Blendtec always come with plastic jars. They won’t break as easily and are more suited for powerful commercial blenders.

The 11 Best Blenders with a Glass Jar

If you don’t need a blender with a 5 horsepower motor, here are some great blenders with a glass jar. Some of them come with a 1,000+ watt motor, which is still pretty powerful and well suited for most blending jobs.

1. Oster Pro 1200 | Best Glass Jar Blender

Oster has been around for ages and is well-known for durable, low-cost blenders. Most of the Oster models are not only inexpensive but also come with glass jars.

The Oster Pro 1200 is one of the more powerful Oster models. It has a strong 1200-watt motor and enough blending power for difficult blending tasks like making green smoothies. Don’t expect Vitamix-like performance, but if you give this blender the proper time it needs, the results are pretty good.

This blender comes with a 48 oz boroclass glass jar. The jar is durable and dishwasher safe. It is temperature resistant and can even withstand thermal shock. You can expose it to a wide range of temperatures at a faster pace. No matter what you put in, the glass jar won’t leach nasty chemicals into your drinks as plastic jars can.

In addition to the glass pitcher, you’ll get a 24 oz smoothie cup. You can blend right into the smaller cup and take it with you wherever you go. The to-go cup is perfect for those busy days when you need a quick solution. I don’t know of many affordable blenders that come both with a large jar, as well as a smaller smoothie cup. That’s pretty impressive for a low-cost blender like the Oster Pro 1200.

This blender comes with seven manual speed settings, as well as three pre-programmed settings. No matter if you want to make smoothies, milkshakes, or chop vegetables for salsa. Just press one button and the Oster does all the work for you. There’s absolutely no guesswork involved. You can walk away while the Oster does its thing! Once your smoothie or shake is done, the blender will stop on its own.

Most blenders in this price range come with a lot of plastic parts, but the Oster Pro is different. This blender has a Duralast metal drive. A metal to metal connection that’s more durable than your standard plastic drives. Oster claims it can blend up to 10,000 smoothies. They’re so confident in this metal drive, that they’ll give you a 10-year warranty on this part of the blender.

What I love about this glass blender is the dual-direction motor. The blender automatically changes the direction of the blades every few seconds. You won’t even need a tamper for this blender. The dual direction motor ensures it blends everything thoroughly and pulverizes all the ingredients.

The 1,200-watt motor is pretty powerful for a low-cost blender. It’s not as strong as a high-end Vitamix or Blendtec, but it has enough power for most blending tasks. If a $500 Vitamix needs 30 seconds for a task, the Oster Pro might need a minute for the same task. But in the end, the results are almost as perfect.

  • Durable 48 oz boroclass glass jar
  • The 1200-watt motor is powerful for a glass blender
  • Comes with a 10-year warranty on the all-metal drive, as well as a 3-year warranty on the remaining parts
  • You’ll love the three automatic pre-programmed settings

  • The 24 oz smoothie cup is prone to spilling
  • Some users report the glass jar leaks after a while
  • The blender is loud

Overall Opinion: If you’re looking for an affordable, yet powerful glass blender, the Oster Pro 1200 is a great choice. The motor is powerful enough for most blending tasks. It comes with three easy-to-use presets that take away all the guesswork. No matter if you want to make smoothies, shakes, or nut butters, the Oster gets it done.

2. Hamilton Beach Power Elite Electric | Budget Pick

If money is tight, the Hamilton Beach Power Elite Electric is a good choice. There’s nothing fancy about this glass blender, but it got all the power you need to create smoothies, milkshakes and do other simple blending jobs. It comes with a 700-watt motor and a 40 oz dishwasher safe glass jar. The glass jar is a bit small for my taste, but not everybody likes to make smoothies for the whole family.

The glass jar is tested to withstand temperature changes. So, if you’re in need of a simple blender for your bulletproof coffee in the morning, the Hamilton Beach is a decent choice. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty, which is rather impressive for a blender in this price range.

For the low price sells for, this blender does a decent job. It comes with what Hamilton Beach calls “Wave Action System”. It basically means you won’t need a tamper to operate this machine. The blades are so designed that they pull down all the ingredients into the blades for smoother results.

Some users report that this blender does not blend all the ingredients, or ingredients get stuck. Other users complained that it does indeed crush ice and frozen fruits, but the motor will burn out after a few months of usage.

Remember, this is a low-cost blender. It doesn’t have the power of a high-end blender. You’ll always have to add enough liquids to your blend to make it easier on the machine. Pour in a little more water, milk, or juice and it should solve the problem in an instant.

Another nice feature of this low-cost gem is the pouring spout on top. The hinged cap makes pouring your smoothies so much easier.

The Hamilton Beach Power Elite comes with 4 large buttons and 12 blending functions. No matter if you want to make smoothies, shakes, crush ice, grind coffee, or chop veggies, this blender got you covered. It also comes with a pulse function to give your blend an extra boost, whenever you need it.

  • The Hamilton Beach is one of the most affordable glass blenders out there
  • It has all the power you’ll need for smoothies, shakes and other simple blending jobs
  • Blends very quickly if you add enough liquids
  • Comes with an impressive 3-year warranty

  • Wish it had more sturdy and durable looking plastics
  • The 40 oz glass jar might be too small for some users

Overall Opinion: If you’re looking for an affordable blender with a glass jar, the Hamilton Beach Power Electric is a good choice. It has enough power for healthy fruit smoothies with some greens in it. If you’re a fan of delicious milkshakes, this blender is all you’ll ever need. You can add some ice cubes and frozen fruits to your smoothies, but make sure to not overdo it. Always add enough liquids to your blend, and this blender can serve you for many years to come.

3. Oster Precise Blend | Affordable Glass Blender with 16 Speeds

When it comes to the best blenders with a glass jar, you’ll always find Oster blenders at the top of the list. Oster manufactures some of the best glass blenders at very affordable prices.

The Oster Precise Blend isn’t quite as powerful as the Oster 1200 model. It comes with a 700-watt motor and a 4 blade design. Just like the stronger Oster 1200, this inexpensive Oster model comes with an All Metal Drive, as well as the 10-year warranty on it.

The 40 oz (5 cup) glass jar is dishwasher safe and easy to clean by hand. Although this blender comes with a 700-watt motor, it only has 450-watt of blending power. You can make simple fruit smoothies and creamy milkshakes without an issue. But just like with the Hamilton Beach Power Elite, always add enough liquids to your blend. It’s not the right blender for advanced blending tasks like green smoothies or nut butters. Although it comes with a setting for green smoothies, I would refrain from making smoothies with a lot of leafy greens and ice in it. You’ll need more power for that.

If you’re in need of a glass blender for simple blending jobs like fruit smoothies and shakes, the Oster Precise Blender will serve you right. I love the good old-fashioned design and the easy-to-use interface. You can choose from 16 speeds. All the buttons are clearly labeled and self-explanatory. No matter if you want to make frozen drinks, or crush ice, there’s a setting for it. It even comes with an “easy clean” self-cleaning function, which I love. Just add some water and a drop of detergent and hit the easy clean function. The blender will clean itself in a matter of seconds.

  • Decent blender at a good price
  • Has enough power for smoothies, milkshakes, and you can even grind your own flour
  • Replacement parts are easy to get
  • Comes with 16 different speeds and settings
  • The machine is pretty quiet for a blender

  • The buttons on the base feel cheap
  • The 40 oz glass jar is kinda small
  • Doesn’t have enough power for making green smoothies or nut butters
  • It’s sometimes hard to tell if the jar has been placed correctly on the base

Overall Opinion: If you don’t expect a Vitamix-like performance, this is a good blender with a glass jar. It comes with a lot of functions and settings to choose from. If you add enough liquids to your blend, it’ll create delicious smoothies and creamy milkshakes in just a few seconds.

4. Aicook Blender | Professional Glass Blender for Cooking

Have you heard about these super-fast, high-powered blenders that can make hot soups out of cold ingredients? You basically add some vegetables to the jar, turn the blender on and in a few minutes, you’ll have a homemade, healthy, hot soup. Incredible!

You’ll need a lot of blending power to heat up cold ingredients to piping hot just with the friction of the blades. The downside to these blenders is they can be very expensive. If you’re not ready to spend $400 on a blender, consider the new Aicook blender. This professional glass jar blender is affordable and comes with a large 60 oz glass jar. It also has a powerful 1400-watt motor, that’s 200 watts more power than the Oster 1200.

What’s revolutionary about this glass jar blender is the automatic heating function. You simply select one of the 4 heating presets like hot soup, or baby food and the blender will heat your cold ingredients up to 212°F. That’s piping hot! The glass jar won’t leave any smell inside no matter what you cook.

The Aicook professional blender is not only great for cooking but also makes smoothies and shakes like a champ. The powerful 1400-watt motor powers through even the toughest ingredients like nuts and leafy greens. You simply select the smoothie setting and the built-in timer shows you the precise blending time. No guesswork involved!

For those of us who hate cleaning kitchen appliances (who doesn’t?), I have great news for you. Aicook even built in a self-cleaning function. It’s super easy to use and it cleans the glass jar in seconds.

  • Comes with a large 60 oz glass jar
  • For a blender that can make hot soup and cook, it’s inexpensive
  • 8 different presets (4 cold blending presets, 4 heat blending presets)
  • The 1400-watt motor powers through everything you put in
  • Comes with a built-in timer
  • I love the self-cleaning program

  • The strong 1400-watt motor is on the noisy side
  • This is a heavy machine, not easy to move around
  • It won’t heat up ingredients as quickly as the more expensive blenders

Overall Opinion: When it comes to value for the money, nothing can beat Aicook in my opinion. They build high-powered blenders that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. With the Aicook professional blender, you can even heat up ingredients and cook your own homemade, healthy soups. The 1400-watt motor is great for making green smoothies, nut butter, and nut milk too.

5. Kacsoo Glass Blender | Travel Blender with Glass Jar

Now this blender is totally different than the other glass blenders introduced here. It’s a small single-serve blender. So, if you’re a fan of smoothies on the go, buckle up and read on!

This cute glass blender comes with a rechargeable 5,200 mAh battery. You can easily charge your blender on the go via USB on your laptop, power bank, or even in your car. The built-in LED shows red when charging, and will turn white when fully charged. Once fully charged the battery of this mini blender can last you for up to one week of healthy smoothies.

What I love about this cutie is the relatively low noise level. It’s nothing like your traditional countertop blender. You can even use it at the office without drawing too much attention to you.

If you don’t overfill the Kacsoo blender and cut your stuff into small enough pieces, this blender performs surprisingly well. Just press one button and you’ll have a fresh, delicious smoothie in under a minute!

It doesn’t have the power to crush big ice cubes, but it’ll do just fine with crushed ice or smaller ice cubes. You can add some frozen fruits, but make sure not to overdo it.

To clean the blender is even easier than cleaning a water bottle. Just add a drop of dish soap, some warm water, turn it on and let the blender clean itself.

  • The 5,200mAh battery is one of the strongest batteries you’ll ever find in a travel blender
  • Now you can make smoothies and shakes anywhere
  • This mini glass blender looks gorgeous with its stainless steel housing
  • Has a safety button on the bottom in case it gets stuck
  • Easily rechargeable via USB
  • Because of its small size, it’s super easy to clean

  • I love the glass jar, but since it’s a travel blender it’s easy to break while traveling
  • It’s not as powerful as your standard countertop blender
  • It’s only for single-serve smoothies and shakes

Overall Opinion: The Kacsoo glass blender is a powerful travel blender. It’s easy to clean and very portable. You can make protein shakes or healthy smoothies wherever you go. Take it with you to the gym or to a picnic. It doesn’t matter where you go, with the rechargeable Kacsoo blender you won’t have any excuses not to enjoy your healthy drinks every day!

6. Oster Beehive Blender | The Simple One

The Oster Beehive Blender has to be the easiest-to-use blender on the market. It has a charming retro look and is small enough to fit in tiny kitchens. It comes with a simple toggle switch and two speeds. Off, On, and Pulse – that’s it. Sometimes less is more.

This classic blender comes with a 40 oz dishwasher-safe glass jar and the durable All-Metal Drive you already know from the other Oster blender models introduced here. The motor is slightly weaker than the one from the Oster Precise Blend. A 600-motor powers this classic blender model.

If you don’t overload this blender and use enough liquid, it does a good job. You can make simple fruit smoothies with some ice in it. You can even add some nuts and leafy greens and it will do just fine.

If you’re looking to make nut butter, nut milk, or green smoothies, however, I would get a Vitamix, Blendtec or a cheaper Vitamix alternative blender. But for most kitchen jobs the Oster Beehive blender is powerful enough.

  • The retro design will look nice on your counter
  • I love the simplicity of this blender
  • More expensive than other blenders with the same power
  • Probably the easiest-to-use blender on the market
  • The Oster Beehive is somewhat loud for a 600-watt blender

  • The base is plastic, not metal
  • The glass jar is too small for my taste
  • Blender can wobble if you put too much ice into it

Overall Opinion: The Oster Beehive blender is a classic blender with only two speeds. What a beauty! It’s super easy to use and powerful enough for most blending jobs. If all you want is a great-looking and easy-to-use blender, go for it!

7. Black+Decker Glass Jar Blender | The Cheap One

There’s nothing fancy about the Black+Decker countertop blender. It’s a simple 40 oz glass jar blender with a 10-speed setting. Why did it still make it on my list of the best blenders with a glass jar?

This blender is one of the cheapest blenders with a glass jar out there. It might not look elegant, but if all you want is a simple shake or smoothie from time to time, this isn’t a bad blender at all!

It comes with a sturdy 40 oz glass jar and an anti mess spout that eliminates drips and spills. The 550-watt motor isn’t the most powerful motor out there, but it gets most blending jobs done. It’s versatile enough to make purees, smoothies, and even iced drinks.

It doesn’t have any pre-programmed functions, but you can choose from 10 manual speeds. Every removable part is safe to clean in the dishwasher.

  • Gotta be one of the cheapest glass blenders out there
  • Easy to use and dishwasher safe
  • The 40 oz glass jar is durable and sturdy

  • The 550-watt motor isn’t suited for more advanced blending tasks
  • This blender isn’t as durable as the more expensive ones

Overall Opinion: If money is really tight, why not give this Black+Decker blender a try? It’s one of the most affordable blenders out there. It might not last you a lifetime, but with proper usage, you won’t be disappointed for the price.

8. Aicook Blender | Affordable Blender for Hot Soup

Here we have another Aicook blender on my list of the best glass blenders. This affordable Aicook model also comes with a durable 60 oz glass pitcher. Although it’s a rather inexpensive blender, Aicook didn’t save on the materials. There’s no plastic inside the jar whatsoever! Even the bottom of the jar is made of ceramic and is completely free of harmful substances like BPA.

Just like the Aicok Heating Blender, this model comes with a strong 1400-watt motor. If you need a multifunctional kitchen helper for making soy milk, porridge, hot soups, or smoothies, this is a great blender.

The heating function of this blender will start automatically if you select a preset with heating function like “soup”. You can also choose the “keep warm” function to keep your food warm.

To be honest with you, I’m pretty impressed with the Aicook blenders. Most high-end blenders for making hot soup will cost you several hundred dollars. This is a great glass blender that does the same job at a fraction of the price.

Given the versatility of this glass blender, it’s surprisingly easy to use. You just need to turn the dial to the right setting. Every setting is clearly labeled and self-explanatory. There are heating settings for soup, porridge, soy milk. It also has a pre-programmed setting for juicing/smoothies as well as a preset for grinding. It even has a self-cleaning function, how cool is that?

  • The Aicook is powered by a strong 1400-watt motor
  • Looks classy and premium
  • Given that it has a heating function, it’s very inexpensive
  • No plastic inside the jar; all glass and ceramic
  • Can make hot soups, warm soy milk, baby food, porridge, etc.
  • Pretty easy to use given all the functions it has
  • Aicook customer service is very responsive and helpful

  • It’s a pretty heavy blender; difficult to move around
  • Might not be as durable as more expensive blenders
  • Some users report the jar started leaking after a while
  • Instructions that come with it are vague

Overall Opinion: If you’re a fan of glass blenders that can make hot soup, and cook other healthy dishes, go for the Aicook blender. This brand delivers good blenders with a glass jar and strong motors at a good price. It comes with a wide variety of blending options to make healthy eating so much easier.

9. Tribest PBG-5001-A | Vacuum Blender with Glass Jar

Our list of the best blenders with a glass jar wouldn’t be complete without a vacuum blender. What are vacuum blenders you might ask? Vacuum blenders are the latest innovation. They haven’t been around for long but are taking the blender market by storm.

The best vacuum blenders help you make perfect-looking, super-nutritious, and incredible-tasting smoothies that only vacuum blenders can make.

How do vacuum blenders create better-looking and tasting smoothies?

They remove the excess air from the jar. The end result are extremely vibrant colors that are out of this world. Smoothies that look like they came right out of a magazine. You’ll see and taste the difference!

Smoothies made with a good vacuum blender are less prone to oxidation, which means they will last longer than those made with a standard blender. They keep their natural colors for longer and even taste better. You can now make your smoothies ahead of time, and the next day, they’re just as delicious and look as good as freshly blended.

The Tribest PBG-5001-A is the only vacuum blender that comes with a glass jar. It might not look as fancy as some of the other vacuum blenders with plastic jars, but it gets the job done.

It’s not the best vacuum blender out there since it doesn’t come with any presets and only has 500 watts of blending power. However, it’s the only option you’ll have if you want a full-size vacuum blender with a glass jar.

If you expect a high-powered blender for this kind of money, you’ll be disappointed. The 500-watt motor is great for fruit smoothies but lacks the power to blend leafy greens thoroughly. If you add a lot of vegetables to your smoothies, you’ll most likely need to blend it several times to get good results.

For all of you simplicity lovers out there, I got great news!

Since this blender doesn’t have any fancy presets, it’s incredibly easy to use. There’s only a variable speed dial and a pulse button, it doesn’t get any simpler than that when it comes to blenders.

Removing oxygen with the included vacuum pump is super easy as well. You just place the pump on top of the jar and press one button. It removes all the excess air from the glass jar for you in seconds.

The Tribest PBG-5001-A comes with a 42 oz glass jar,  as well as a smaller 24 oz glass container. The 24 oz container is perfect for your on-the-go smoothies. The silicone-lined lids keep your smoothies easy to take with you. The lids don’t leak easily, but they’re not as convenient to drink out of.

What I don’t like about the smaller jar is that it doesn’t come with a vacuum lid. Only the 42 oz jar has a vacuum lid and can be vacuum-sealed.

The Tribest comes with a generous 5-year warranty, so you won’t have to worry about it for half a decade.

  • It’s the only full-sized vacuum blender with a glass jar
  • The glass jars are made of high-quality, thick, durable glass
  • Comes with two glass containers; 42 oz and 24 oz
  • Vacuum-sealed smoothies for vibrant colors, more nutrients, and richer taste
  • The included vacuum pump is easy to use, reliable, and fast
  • Small countertop footprint makes it great for smaller kitchens
  • Fits under most cabinets
  • Tribest is a household name in the juicing and blending industry and this vacuum blender is well-constructed

  • It’s expensive for a 500-watt blender
  • Not as powerful as I would like a blender to be in this price range
  • The blender is kinda noisy on high settings
  • The smaller travel-friendly jar can’t be vacuum-sealed
  • The shape of the containers and lids is awkward

Overall Opinion: I love vacuum blenders, but I’m not in love with the Tribest PBG-5001-A. For a blender in this price range, I expect more bang for my buck. The 500-watt motor struggles to create chunk-free green smoothies. If you want a vacuum blender with a glass jar, the Tribest is your only choice at the moment. So, if you insist on getting a glass jar vacuum blender, take a more thorough look at it. Otherwise, I would recommend going for a more powerful vacuum blender with a plastic jar. The affordable Ninja Smart Screen or the high-end Kuvings SV500S are two great vacuum blenders that I can recommend.

10. Decen Glass Blender | Affordable Blender with Flaws

The Decen Blender is another affordable blender with a glass jar. It comes with a 1000-watt and 24,000 rpm motor, which is pretty decent for the money it sells for.

Decen isn’t as well known as some of the other brands listed here. They’re new to the game and offer a few lower-priced models. This glass blender model comes with a beautiful stainless steel base. Kinda reminds me of some of the Oster models. Decen offers a 2-year warranty for those of you concerned about the quality. They also offer lifelong technical consultation and customer service.

The included glass jar is 64 oz and is heat resistant. The 1000-watt motor is pretty good. It’s not as powerful as a high-end one, but it works great for most blending jobs if you give it the time it needs. It doesn’t have any difficulties crushing ice. Blending frozen fruits into a delicious smoothie? No problem either! Even if you add a few greens to your smoothies, the Decen handles it well. It comes with a preset smoothie function, as well as an ice crushing function. You can also choose from five manual speeds, as well as a pulse function.

The built quality of this particular model could be better. Pressing the buttons feels cheap. Also, a faulty connection between the jar and base makes this blender prone to leaking. A few users complained about the plastic housing breaking easily. I really wished Decen would work on the overall quality of this blender since when it works, the results are quite good.

  • Nice looking stainless steel housing
  • The  motor gets most jobs done
  • Price is inexpensive for a 1,000-watt blender
  • The two presets for smoothies and crushing ice work well

  • English manual doesn’t make much sense
  • Overall built quality is disappointing
  • Not as easy to take apart and clean

Overall Opinion: The Decen is not the best blender with a glass jar out there. The buttons feel cheap and the overall built quality is below my expectations. I like the motor and the stainless steel housing though. For almost the same price you can get a more reliable Oster blender, which I always would prefer.

11. Tribest PBG-5050-A | Personal Blender with a Glass Jar

If you’re searching for a personal blender with a glass jar, there are not many models to choose from. The only glass personal blender I know of is the Tribest PBG-5050-A.

Compared to other small single-serve blenders the Tribest is pricey, but is it’s worth its price? Only if you insist on having a glass jar!

Compared to a Nutri Ninja or NutriBullet the 500-watt motor seems weak. It’s not as powerful for creating smooth green smoothies as the competitors’ more powerful bases.

If you’re traveling a lot I’d rather prefer the BPA-free Nutri Ninja or NutriBullet plastic jars. Although the glass jars are thick and durable, I’d still always be concerned about breaking the glass while traveling.

What I like about the Tribest is the 5-year warranty and the three included glass jars. You’ll get a 24oz, 16oz, as well as an 8oz blending container. The jars come with secure lids, so you can take your drinks with you wherever you go.

  • The only glass personal blender I know of
  • The base and glass jars are high quality
  • The 5-year warranty on the Tribest beats the 1-year warranty of most other personal blenders by far

  • I wish it had a more powerful motor
  • Plastic jars might be better for traveling
  • The price is too high for what you get

Overall Opinion: If you’re a fan of glass jars and single-serve blenders, you might need to take a deeper look on the Tribest PBG-5050-A. It’s a 500-watt glass personal blender that comes with three different-sized jars. The high price it sells for is only worth it if you insist on having a glass jar. There are more powerful plastic jar personal blenders out there selling at a lower price.

Does Vitamix offer blender models with a glass jar or Vitamix glass containers?

No, Vitamix doesn’t manufacture glass jar blenders. They also don’t offer additional glass containers. If you want a powerful commercial blender for your kitchen, there’s no way around a plastic jar. Vitamix only uses BPA-free plastic, so they’re safe to use.

  1. Are there good personal size smoothie makers with glass jars? I did see a Black and Decker, Fusion Blade personal blender. Any others? How is the quality for this one?

    • Philipp Brohl

      Hi Kathleen,
unfortunately, I don’t know of many personal blenders with glass jars. Tribest has one, but it sells for $150+, so it’s rather expensive and the reviews are mixed. There’s also a rechargeable mini blender from Kacsoo that comes with a glass jar, but blenders with batteries just aren’t that powerful. Hope that helps.
