So, you’ve finally decided to start juicing, that’s great! You have made the right decision. Juicing is the best way to up your intake of fruits and vegetables.
I know the wide variety of juicers can be confusing. I’ve been juicing for six years now and own several juicers ranging from $50 up to $700. Some of the best juicers under $100 perform almost as good as high-end models. In this guide, I’ll show you the best affordable juicers and what to look for in a juicer.
Finding the Best Juicer Under $100
Before you can decide, which juicer is right for you, you’ll need to know the difference between centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers. If you already know the difference, select one of the two categories below, and I’ll show you the best juicer under $100 in both categories. If you want to learn more about the different types of juicers, read on.
Difference Between Centrifugal Juicers and Masticating Juicers
Masticating juicers are also known as slow juicers or cold press juicers. Slow, masticating juicers tend to be more expensive than centrifugal juicers.
The difference between the two types of juicers is the speed and the method by which they break down the fruits and veggies. Masticating juicers press the juice out slowly. That’s why they’re also called slow juicers.
Centrifugal juicers have fast-spinning blades and juice fast. They slice the produce instead of grinding it. Because of the high speed, they destroy some of the nutrients.
Centrifugal juicers are less efficient at juicing leafy greens like spinach or kale. If you want to juice wheatgrass, mint, or parsley, consider getting a masticating juicer. It’s difficult to get much juice out of it using a centrifugal juicer.
Because of the fast spinning blades, centrifugal juicers are noisy. It sounds almost like an airplane taking off. Masticating juicers are much quieter; you will hardly hear the motor working.
Fresh juices made with a centrifugal juicer can be stored for up to 24 hours in the fridge. If you want to store your juice for up to 72 hours, you’ll need a masticating juicer. Learn more: How Long Does Fresh Juice Last.
There are also advantages to centrifugal juicers.
Centrifugal juicers work fast. You insert the fruits and veggies, and the juice comes out instantly. Most centrifugal juicers also come with a wide mouth feed chute. You can shove a whole apple inside without precutting.
The feed chute of masticating juicers is usually small. You have to cut your produce into small chunks and insert them slowly one after another.
I own and use both centrifugal juicers and slow juicers. If I’m in the mood for a quick juice, I use my centrifugal juicer. If I want to make a large batch of juice for the next three days, I use one of my slow juicers.
As a juicing beginner, I would almost always prefer a centrifugal juicer. They’re less expensive, fast, easy to use and clean. Masticating juicers are best if you want to make a lot of green vegetable juice and store it for up to three days.
So, now that you know the difference between the two types of juicers? Which one is right for you?
Best Centrifugal Juicers Under $100
1. Breville BJE200XL | Best Choice
When it comes to centrifugal juicers, there’s one brand that stands out: Breville. The BJE200XL is Breville’s top-selling model. It has thousands of positive reviews on Amazon. For me, this is one of the most beautiful centrifugal juicers on the market today. It’s also quite compact, for those who are concerned about space.
The 700-watt motor operates at 14,000 RPM and helps you extract juice in seconds. This juicer is best at juicing fruits and hard produce like carrots, but it also does an acceptable job with leafy greens.
Breville claims the BJE200XL extracts up to 30 percent more juice and 40 percent more vitamins than other centrifugal juicers. That’s a bold claim, and I’m not sure if that’s the case. But what I can say is that for a centrifugal juicer it does a great job. The pulp produced by this machine is relatively dry, so it’s efficient at getting the most juice out of everything you put in.
The Breville BJE200XL has an extra large 3-inch feed chute. For the most part, you won’t have to precut your fruits and veggies.
I once owned a juicer with a small feed chute. I had to cut everything into tiny little chunks. It took me almost a half-hour just to get started with juicing. Guess how often I used this juicer? Right, not very often at all. If a juicer is inconvenient to use, it won’t get used.
You won’t have any difficulty operating your new juicer. There’s an On/Off switch, and that’s it. Get your fruits and veggies ready and start juicing.
The pulp container is 1.6 liters. You can make large batches of juice for your whole family without having to empty it during juicing. After you are finished juicing, toss all the parts in your dishwasher. You can clean all five removable parts by hand in less than 5 minutes if you don’t have a dishwasher. A cleaning brush for the cutting disc is included in the box.
You’ll never have to worry about safety with this machine. The juicer won’t operate if the cover and locking arm aren’t in place. All plastic parts that come in contact with food are BPA-free. The Breville BJE200XL comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
See the Breville in action:
Cons: The Breville is one of the best centrifugal juicers out there, but when it comes to leafy greens, it’s not on par with masticating juicers. Centrifugal juicers are simply not designed to juice greens. You can add some greens from time to time, and it will do just fine. However, if you’re going to juice leafy greens primarily, consider getting a masticating juicer.

Overall Opinion: What’s not to love about the BJE200XL? It’s powerful, inexpensive, easy to clean, and looks gorgeous. For me, it’s the best juicer under $100. Other buyers seem to agree with me as it has thousands of positive reviews and continues to be a bestseller.
2. Hamilton Beach 67601A | Impressive Juice Yield
The Hamilton Beach is one of the top-selling juicers under $100. It’s one of the best affordable juicers, and the 800-watt motor is strong enough to juice anything you throw at it.
You can insert whole fruits and veggies, as the juicer comes with a big mouth feed chute. The 3-inch chute is sure to save you a lot of time.
Now it’s getting interesting. The Hamilton Beach yields more juice than its competitors. It produces up to 24% more juice than even more expensive centrifugal juicers. It also does an excellent job with leafy greens like kale. It reduces waste and helps you save money in the long run.
What I don’t like about this machine is that it’s entirely made out of plastic. It gives it a somewhat cheap appearance. There’s also no juice cup, and cleaning brush included.
You won’t have any difficulties operating the Hamilton Beach though. There’s an Off/Switch, and that’s it. Get your fruits and veggies ready, turn your juicer on and start juicing.
Once you’ve finished juicing, simply toss all parts in your dishwasher and forget about it. All parts that come in contact with food are BPA-free. The Hamilton Beach 67601A has a 3-year warranty.
Cons: The juicer doesn’t come with a pitcher and a cleaning brush. It’s a low priced juicer made out of plastic, but a 3-year warranty covers it. Juice quality is good, but not perfect. There will be some foam on top of your juices.

Overall Opinion: The Hamilton Beach is an affordable and efficient juicer. It yields more juice than its competitors. The juicer comes with a 3-year warranty, which is unheard of in this price range.
3. Aicok 1000W | The Beast
The Aicok is a beast. It’s powered by a strong 1000-watt motor and operates at up to 18,000 RPM. If you want to make your juice superfast, this juicer is for you. Now, motor power isn’t everything, but the Aicok performs well. It yields a good amount of juice, and the juice quality is excellent.
The Aicok is well built and well designed. The stainless steel look is nice. It’s not as beautiful as the Breville BJE200XL, but it has durable plastic parts and 300 watts more power.
With this powerful motor, you can juice anything. There’s no clogging and less foam. The motor has two speeds: Low and High. Select the Low Speed to juice softer fruits and leafy greens. The High-Speed Setting is for hard produce such as beets and carrots.
Both the pitcher and pulp extractor are big enough so that you won’t have to empty them while juicing. It will help you create more juice in a shorter amount of time. When buying a centrifugal juicer always choose one with an extra pulp extractor. Cheaper centrifugal juicers have small built-in pulp bins, and you will have to stop after every two glasses of juice to clean it out.
The 3-inch feed chute is wide enough for medium-sized apples, lemons, oranges, and whole cucumbers. It’s a huge timesaver, as you don’t have to precut your fruits and veggies.
You won’t have any difficulties assembling the Aicok. There are only five removable parts, and it’s easy to install and clean. You can put all the pieces in your dishwasher and forget about it. The juicer comes with a handy cleaning brush to keep the filter clean.
All plastic parts are BPA free, so you don’t have to worry about nasty chemicals in your fresh juices.
The Aicok Juicer comes with a 2-year limited warranty, that can be extended to 3 years if you register as a member. Their customer service is top notch, and you can contact them 24 hours.
Cons: Like all other centrifugal juicers, the Aicok is quite noisy. Build quality is decent but not as good as the Breville BJE200XL.
SEE LATEST PRICE FOR THE AICOK 1000-WATT JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Aicok is a powerful 1000-watt juice extractor. It will juice everything you throw at it. The extra large pitcher and pulp extractor make it one of the best juicers under $100. The price is low for a juicer this powerful.
4. Gourmia GJ750 | Beginner’s Best Friend
The Gourmia GJ750 is a good juicer for starters. It’s affordable and comes with a 2-Speed 850-watt motor. From soft fruits to hard root vegetables, this juicer does it all.
It’s equipped with a large pulp extractor and a 32 oz pitcher. It allows you to make healthy, fresh juice for up to 4 people without ever having to stop the machine.
The wide mouth chute allows you to throw in your medium-sized fruits and veggies in whole. No peeling and precutting are required. It cuts your preparation time in half.
The Gourmia GJ750 is easy to use. There is only one dial and two settings. The Low Setting will help you get the most out of your soft fruits, like oranges and tomatoes. The High Setting works well for harder vegetables like ginger, beets, and carrots.
The build quality of the Gourmia GJ750 could be better. If you juice hard produce like beets, the machine starts wobbling. That’s an issue a lot of cheaper juicers have. If you want a more stable juicer, go for the Breville BJE200XL.
Cleanup is a breeze; all parts are dishwasher safe. Assembling and disassembling is extremely easy, there are only five removable parts. The stainless steel body is easily wiped clean.
The Gourmia GJ750 is an excellent juicer for fruits. However, if you’re going to juice leafy greens, you want to sandwich the greens between fruits. Otherwise, you won’t get much juice out of your greens.
First, put an apple or another fruit in, load up some leafy greens like kale or spinach, and finally put another fruit on top. It improves the density and yields more juice. If you want to juice a lot of leafy greens, consider getting a slow juicer.
All plastic parts are BPA-free, and the Gourmia GJ750 has a 1-year limited warranty.
See the Gourmia GJ750 in action:
Cons: It leaves more juice in the pulp than the Breville BJE200XL. If you juice hard produce like beets or lemons with peels, the juicer starts wobbling.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE GOURMIA GJ750
Overall Opinion: The Gourmia GJ750 is a good juicer for beginners. If you only juice once in a while, the Gourmia GJ750 is a good choice. It’s dirt cheap, comes with a wide feed chute and is easy to use and clean.
5. Elehot Juicer | Budget Juicer
The Elehot Juicer comes with an 800-watt motor that operates at up to 12,000 RPM. You can choose from two-speed settings that will help you get the most out of soft and hard produce.
Use the low-speed setting, that operates at a slower 8,000 RPM to juice fruits like peeled oranges and watermelons. The 12,000 RPM, fast speed setting, does a great job at juicing hard vegetables like carrots and beets.
The 3-inch wide mouth chute cuts your prep time in half. It’s easy to clean if you clean it shortly after using. A cleaning brush is included, so you can clean the stainless steel blade without any difficulties.
If you ever overload the machine, the juicer will automatically shut off before the motor can overheat. The juicer will only operate if the safety locking arm is in the vertical position, giving you maximum safety.
Cons: Leftover pulp is not as dry as with the Breville BJE200XL, which means it’s less efficient.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE ELEHOT JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Elehot Juicer is a pretty powerful machine, that will juice anything you throw at it. All parts are easy to clean, only the stainless steel blade takes a while to scrub. It comes with two-speed settings, giving you perfect results with little to no pulp in your juices.
6. Black + Decker 400-Watt | Not Recommended
A 400-watt motor powers the Black + Decker Juice Extractor. The juice quality it produces is acceptable, but the pulp is still wet. It’s not efficient and wastes a lot of fruit and veggies as it doesn’t fully juice them. You have to use more fruits and vegetables to get the same amount of juice.
The pulp extractor in the back is way too small and fills up quickly, you’ll have to empty it often. The feed chute is also tiny. You have to precut everything into tiny little chunks to make it fit. The chute is weirdly shaped like a moon, you have to cut the fruits and veggies in a way that will fit the chute.
Build quality isn’t that good. The 400-watt motor often sounds like its struggling and is not powerful enough to juice large amounts of produce at once. The juicer also produces a mess while juicing. After making about 10 ounces of juice, you have to stop and clean the machine. Otherwise, the pulp will start to come out with the juice.
Now on the positive side, the juicer is really easy to set up and use. You won’t need the instructions to get started. It’s probably the most inexpensive juicer on the market. It does an acceptable job if you only want to make a glass or two once in a while.
You’ll need to buy a brush to clean the mesh, but once you figured out how to do it, it’s easy. There aren’t that many parts that need to be cleaned. The Black + Decker Juicer comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
Cons: Small, oddly shaped feed chute. Weak 400-watt motor. Pulp extractor is too small, you’ll have to empty it often during juicing.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE BLACK + DECKER JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Black + Decker Juicer does an acceptable job if you’re only going to use it once in a while. However, if you’re a frequent juicer, I recommend you invest in a better model. It has too many drawbacks which will discourage you from using it on a daily basis. I have found that if a juicer is inconvenient to use, it won’t get used.
Best Masticating Juicers Under $100
1. Aicok Slow Masticating Juicer | Best Choice
The Aicok Slow Masticating Juicer usually costs slightly more than $100, but boy is it worth it. This juicer performs as well as some of the best masticating juicers that cost $300 and more. It has almost exclusively positive reviews on Amazon and gets the last drop out of leafy greens.
Update July 2019: It seems like the Aicok Slow Juicer has become more expensive in the last few months and is now selling over $100. If you’re in need of a more affordable alternative, check out Aicok’s latest generation slow juicer model.
See how the Aicok Slow Juicer performs against the $300 Omega 8006:
As more people are starting to juice vegetables, masticating juicers become less and less expensive. Just a few years ago, you wouldn’t be able to find a slow juicer for less than $200.
The Aicok combines all the advantages of a slow, masticating juicer for the price of a centrifugal juicer.
You’ll love the Aicok if you’re limited on space. This juicer is compact, you will hardly notice it on your countertop. It operates super quiet at 80 RPM and less than 60 dB. You can make your fresh juices in the morning, without ever having to worry about waking up your family members.
You won’t have any difficulties operating the juicer. In fact, there are only two buttons, an On/Off Switch and a Reverse Button. Prepare your fruits and veggies, turn the juicer on, and you’re good to go. The Reverse Function can help you solve jamming in no time if you’re ever in need for it.
All plastic parts are BPA-free and dishwasher safe. Don’t worry if you don’t have a dishwasher. The juicer is one of the easiest to clean masticating juicers. It’ll take you less than 5 minutes to wash all parts by hand.
The Aicok Slow Juicer comes with a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty can be extended to 3-years if you register as a member free of charge.

Cons: The juicer is made out of plastic, not stainless steel like more expensive slow juicers. It’s an excellent juicer for leafy greens, but juice yield from hard produce could be better.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE AICOK SLOW JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Aicok is an excellent masticating juicer for the low price of a centrifugal juicer. It’s easy to clean and the juice yield and juice quality are as good as it can get. It comes with a 3-year warranty, which is unheard of in this price range.
2. Aobosi Juicer | Affordable Slow Juicer
The Aobosi Slow Juicer has a 150-watt motor and operates at a slow speed of 80 RPM. The slow juicing method preserves nutrients. Juices made with slow juicers contain more vitamins and minerals than juices made with centrifugal juicers, giving you the healthiest juice possible.
The juicer runs at less than 60 dB. You will hardly hear the motor working. You can make your healthy juices in the early morning or late at night without disturbing others.
If you want the best juice quality possible, go for a slow, masticating juicer. Masticating juicers squeeze the juice out of fruits and veggies slowly. There’s not much heat and friction created. They incorporate less air in the juice than centrifugal juicers. By using the Aobosi Slow Juicer, you slow down oxidation, and your fresh juice lasts longer.
Juices made with centrifugal juicers only last for up to 24 hours in the fridge. Juices made with the Aobosi Slow Juicer will stay fresh for up to 72 hours. You can make batches for up to three days in advance. Always keep your fresh juices in airtight containers in your refrigerator. Learn more: How Long Does Fresh Juice Last?
The Aobosi Slow Juicer produces the right amount of juice, but the pulp produced is still slightly wet. If you’re juicing tough ingredients like celery or kale, run the pulp through a second time to really get the last drop out of your produce.
Juice yield from fruits is excellent though. One big apple makes enough juice to fill a full six-ounce juice glass. It creates almost no pulp. For those who like their juices with little to no pulp, the Aobosi Juicer is a good choice.
There’s also a foam separator built in the pitcher, it’s genius. It effectively removes foam from your juices. I don’t mind a little foam on top of my juices, but I know many people who do. This feature is definitely nice to have.
The juicer disassembles easily which makes cleanup a breeze. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to clean it by hand. You can use the included scrubbing brush to clean or toss all parts in your dishwasher. All parts are made of BPA-free Tritan plastic.
The Aobosi Slow Masticating Juicer comes with a 1-month trial and 2-year warranty.
Cons: The feed chute is small, you have to precut your fruits and veggies. It’s a slow juicer, so juicing will take more time than using a fast-spinning centrifugal juicer.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE AOBOSI SLOW JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Aobosi Slow Juicer is one of the best masticating juicers under $100. It’s a compact and inexpensive juicer that will help you make the most nutritious fresh juice possible. If you’re juicing tough ingredients like kale or spinach, please make sure to run the pulp through a second time to get even the last drop out of your produce.
3. Aicook Juicer | The Vertical Juicer
This Aicok Juicer is a vertical juicer. It operates the same way as horizontal slow juicers but stands upright. Vertical juicers have a smaller footprint and fit in kitchens that are limited on space.
Now when it comes to vertical slow juicers, you better have deep pockets. Most vertical juicers cost more than $250. The Aicok performs just as well as some expensive vertical juicers and costs less than half the price. It works great for any fruit and vegetable, including leafy greens.
The Aicok Vertical Juicer is a slow, masticating juicer, you will hardly hear the motor. You can make your healthy juices early in the morning or late at night without waking up your family members. The spout plug stops dripping and lets you pre-mix your juices.
The juice quality is good, but depending on the ingredients you put in it can be pulpy. If you want less pulp in your juice, I would go for the Aicok Horizontal Slow Juicer or the Breville BJE200XL. The pulp that comes out of the machine is dry, which means you’ll need fewer fruits and veggies for one glass of fresh juice.
The Aicok Vertical Juicer comes with a 3-inch wide feed chute. Having a wide mouth chute is a huge timesaver. Once you have owned a juicer with a small feed chute, you really learn to appreciate a wide feed chute. You won’t have to cut your fruits and veggies into tiny little chunks. You can insert medium-sized fruits, and even whole cucumbers and the juicer will do all the work for you.
Now what I really love about the juicer is the Easy Clean Function. All you have to is close the spout plug and pour water down the feed chute. Turn the juicer on for a few seconds, and your juicer is precleaned. Then just rinse all parts quickly under running water, and the juicer is ready for your next juicing session.
The Aicok comes with a 2-year warranty that can be extended to 3 years free of charge.
Cons: It’s a slow juicer, you should always feed it slowly to avoid jamming. It’s best to precut fibrous vegetables like celery, or the juicer can clog. Build quality is not as good as high-end masticating juicers.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE AICOOK VERTICAL JUICER
Overall Opinion: Great value vertical juicer that works just as well as the more expensive vertical juicers. It’s easy to take apart and use. The Easy Clean Function makes cleanup a breeze.
4. Lexen Manual Juicer | The Wheatgrass Juicer
Now, this juicer is entirely different than all the other juicers introduced here. It’s a compact, lightweight manual juicer that’s super efficient at juicing wheatgrass, sprouts, spinach, mint, and parsley. It costs only half of what other manual juicers cost and is an excellent choice for budget-oriented shoppers.
The juicer only weighs three pounds, and you won’t need any electricity to operate it. You can take it with you anywhere you go. It can also juice apples, oranges, celery, and other fruits and veggies. However, where it really excels is the lightweight leafy greens. You’ll be amazed at how efficient this small juicer is. It really gets the last drop out of wheatgrass and leafy greens.
See the Lexen Manual Juicer in action:
Although there is some manual labor involved, you won’t need much strength to operate it. The handle provides enough leverage and juicing is quite easy. That doesn’t mean you can juice for hours without getting sore arms, but you won’t have any difficulties getting a few glasses out of the Lexen without much effort.
Lexen claims that the Manual Juicer can juice hard produce like carrots, but I’d use an electric juice extractor for this kind of job. If you juice hard ingredients and don’t precut them, it’s tough to grind, and it kinda feels like the ends may crack.
If you’re going to juice hard produce anyway, always make sure to precut it into little chunks, so it’s easier for you and the juicer to extract juice.
You could put all the parts in your dishwasher, but you really don’t have to. The Lexen Juicer is the easiest to clean juicer on the market. You can rinse off all parts in less than 1 minute. This juicer comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
Cons: It can get foamy inside if you’re only sending leafy greens through. Always alternate with something watery like a lemon or an apple to flush it out. It can juice hard produce like carrots and beets, but please make sure to cut it in small chunks. It’s a plastic juicer. Although the parts are well-built, always handle with care to make it even more durable.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE LEXEN MANUAL JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Lexen Manual juicer is a compact, lightweight manual juicer. It’s even smaller than it appears in the pictures. You can take it with you everywhere you go and operate it without having electricity. It’s the world’s easiest to clean juicer. It doesn’t come with a strainer that needs to be cleaned. There are only three small parts that can be rinsed off in less than 1 minute. The juicer really wrings out the juice out of wheatgrass and leafy greens and helps you extract almost 100% of all the juice inside. The pulp is dry, and the juice quality is excellent.
5. Simple Taste Slow Juicer | Affordable & Beautiful
The Simple Taste Slow Juicer is another juice extractor that offers a good performance and won’t cost you an arm and a leg. It’s probably the cheapest slow juicer on the market right now and is one of the best juicers under $100. It comes with a 150-watt motor that spins the auger at a steady 80 RPM.
This beautiful white juicer looks fantastic! Its compact design is built to fit even on small countertops. It’s lightweight, and you won’t have any difficulties moving it around. The slow juicer is also super quiet and won’t disturb your neighbors or family members.
See the Simple Taste Slow Juicer in action:
Don’t be fooled by its compact size and low price; the juicer can extract juice from even the toughest ingredients like wheatgrass and kale. The juicer doesn’t produce much foam, and the juice quality is excellent.
It really gets all the nutrients, and the pulp is relatively dry. It’s not as dry as with the Aicok Slow Juicer, but given the low price, the performance is excellent. You can always re-run the pulp a second time to extract more juice if you want to.
The Simple Taste Juicer is easy to take apart and put together and easy to clean. It comes with a cleaning brush that looks like a toothbrush. This handy scrubbing brush makes it really easy to clean the strainer. You can rinse all parts of and wash the machine by hand in less than 5 minutes. Or just put all the parts in your dishwasher and forget about it.
The Simple Taste Juicer comes with a 30-day full refund and 1-year limited warranty.
Cons: Like most other slow juicers, the feed chute is small. Juice yield is good, but not quite as high as with the Aicok Slow Juicer. Build quality could be better, the machine can start wobbling if you juice hard vegetables.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE SIMPLE TASTE SLOW JUICER
Overall Opinion: You really can’t go wrong with the Simple Taste Slow Juicer. It does an excellent job at juicing fruits and vegetables, including tough ingredients like leafy greens. Even citrus peels go right through it. It costs a lot less than other masticating juicers and is one of the better masticating juicers under $100. It’s also easy to use and clean. They offer a 30-day full refund, just give it a try to see if it’s the right juicer for you.
6. Eco Pure Slow Speed | Budget Pick
The Eco Pure Slow Speed is the best masticating juicer under $100 if you’re on a super tight budget. It costs less than the other slow juicers introduced here and produces good results.
It operates at a slow speed of 80 RPM and is quiet. It produces more juice than centrifugal juicers but isn’t as efficient as the Aicok Slow Juicer. It’s a decent juicer for occasional use. If you’re only juicing once in a while, juice yield gets less important. You can always run the pulp through a second time to get more juice out of your fruits and veggies.
If you’re juicing fibrous veggies like celery or leafy greens, please make sure to cut it into little chunks. Otherwise, the juicer will clog.
What I really like about the juicer is the variable end cap. That’s a feature I’ve only seen on high-end slow juicers that cost $300 or more. The adjustable end cap lets you decide exactly how much pulp you want in your juices.
The removable parts are easy to assemble and disassemble. The strainer (the hardest part to clean on any juicer) is quite small and can be cleaned with the included cleaning brush in seconds. All parts are BPA-free and also dishwasher safe. The Eco Pure Juicer comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
Cons: If you’re juicing fibrous ingredients like kale stems or celery, please make sure to cut it into little chunks. The juicer is prone to clogging. It’s a good juicer for occasional use, but if you want to use your juicer daily, I would go for either the Aicok Slow Juicer or the Breville BJE200XL centrifugal juicer. The pulp produced is slightly wetter, which means it’s less efficient.
CHECK LATEST PRICE FOR THE ECO PURE SLOW JUICER
Overall Opinion: The Eco Pure Slow Speed is a good juicer for occasional use. The price is unbeatable, and it produces decent results. If you want to use your juicer only once in a while, go for the Eco Pure Slow Speed.
These are the best juicers under $100. No matter what kind of juicer you decided on, you’ve made the right decision. Juicing is the best health habit you can cultivate. It gives you and your family the energizing hit of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Since I started juicing six years ago, my energy and happiness levels went through the roof, and I know it can do the same for you. If you have any questions, comment in the section below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
I also am just starting off with juicing and was thinking about masticating juicer, but in reading your post about he difference between juicers, I am back leaning towards a centrifugal type juicer due to the cost and cleanup differences. Also I had never thought about making larger batches of juice as I usually just prepare smaller batches , now you have given more to think about .
Hi Rick, sounds like a centrifugal juicer is a good choice for your needs.
Your information on the juicers in very timely. I want to buy one for my daughter and her little family for Christmas. The fact that they are under $100 is definitely a plus.
Thanks for explaining the difference between Centrifugal Juicers and Masticating Juicers. I was not aware of the differences. Since I’ve learned that the centrifugal one might destroy some of the nutrients due to the high speed, I will definitely choose the masticating or slow juicer.
Thanks for educating me and preparing me to make an informed decision.
V. Pearl
Hi Vanna. A juicer for Christmas is a lovely gift. Thank you for stopping by!
Your post was very informative and well researched. My family and I have been juicing for about a year now and before I started our juicing journey I did researched on what is the best juicer out there. I used to own a centrifugal juicer and all the while I thought it would do the job but after a thorough research I found out if you really want to get the most out of juicing you should start with the right juicer. It must be a the Masticating Juicer because by what the name suggest it means it grinds, chews or knead into a pulp and does not introduce heat to the juice. And that is very important for you to get the most out of the juice you are making. I recommend the masticating juicer over the centrifugal one!
Hi, masticating juicers are great. However, I really like the convenience of centrifugal juicers, they are so fast. Great if I’m in the mood for a quick juice. I own both types and I really don’t want to miss either one of them.
I have always used a blender to prepare all the type of juice that I wanted. I didn’t know that the centrifugal juicer and masticating juicer existed! I also didn’t know the benefits of each one. I personally would like to buy the masticating juicer, it it doesn’t matter if it is more expensive than the centrifugal juicer, why? Because I really don’t like my juicer to destroy some of the nutrients.
Thanks for this useful information!
Thanks, Fredery.
Great article. I own a Ninja juicer/blender and I make a smoothie every morning with greens, flax seed, vitamin powder and frozen fruit. I was not aware of masticating juicers and I have a question.
Do masticating juices simple squeeze out the juice are are all parts of the fruit or vegetable like skin and pulp pressed as well?
Hi Jeff, you can leave the peel on. Just make sure to buy organic produce, if you want to juice the skin. Blender and juicer are really two completely different device. I own both blenders and juicers and I don’t want to miss either one.
I have been juicing for more than 20 years and have always used a centrifugal juicer. Of course, I have changed several over the years, but my favorite has always been the Breville brand. Unfortunately, my last juicer which was not Breville broke apart two weeks ago. I am now looking at masticating juicers.
I like the Aicok brand, but being made of plastic and not juicing hard produce well are my concerns. What is your best stainless steel recommendation? In case I try the Aicok brand, do you think I will get more juice from the hard produce if I cut them in small pieces? Would this be less pressuring on the plastic, or is it not great to juice hard produce?
Hi, high-end masticating juicers can get expensive. My best recommendation would be the Greenstar Elite, it’s a $500 juicer with stainless steel twin gears.
The Aicok doesn’t have any difficulties juicing hard produce. The juice yield is just lower than let’s say with a Greenstar Elite. You’ll always need cut the produce in small pieces to fit the chute when using a masticating juicer.
I think the Aicok is a great choice. You can get five Aicok juicers for the price of one Greenstar Elite.
I moved to my university residence three months ago. And as you know it can be really hard to eat all the required fruits and vegetables. It can also take so much time to consume them. So I think buying a juicer for me will be a really good choice.
I’ll have to find out which juicer is right for me, but I think I’ll go for the Aicok slow juicer. The price seems reasonable too.
Hi Sujandar, you really can’t go wrong with the Aicok. It’s a great juicer.
What a great review! I didn’t know that there are 2 types of juicers. I have Black and Decker juicer. It was a present from my In-laws. I wouldn’t recommend it, just like you said my biggest con is small and oddly shaped feed chute. My husband and I just started juicing 2 weeks ago, and I was just thinking to get new juicer because my current one isn’t that good with greens. My favorite one from your review is Aicok 1000W.
Hi Alona, my first juicer was a similar model to the Black + Decker. This kind of juicers are acceptable, if you’re only going to juice one glass or two every few weeks. But once you get serious with juicing, it’s time to step up.
The Aicok is a great juicer. I think you’ll love the wide feed chute and the strong motor.
Hello Phil,
I think I like centrifugal fruit juicers better. I would like to get a cheaper one. I have problems in consuming vegetables but I eat a lot of fruits. I agree with you the incredible benefits they bring to our health. I will try to choose the least noisy among the different models that you show. Any suggestions?
Thank you! Claudio
Hi Claudio,
Well, I don’t want to sugarcoat it. Centrifugal juicers are noisy. The least noisy is the Breville BJE200XL with the 700-watt motor and the well-built base unit. If you want a quiet juicer and that’s really important to you, I’d go for a slow, masticating juicer.
Hi Phil,
I have never juiced before but I love the idea of it and I will definitely have to buy myself a juicer and get juicing! Given that I am new at this I will probably stick to the budget option of the Eco Pure Slow Speed to get me started. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks Celeste, the Eco Pure slow juicer is a good choice. I hope you’ll enjoy your fresh juices as much as I do. It’s a great and easy way to live a healthier life.
To get more nutrients in my diet I would go with the masticating juicers. Even though they are more expensive. The whole point in juicing is to feel better and get the nutrients that you need. If it’s only $100 to get healthier I would happily pay money so that I could feel the best that I can. Informing post thanks.
Thanks, Cory. I think you’re right, $100 isn’t a huge investment for the many health benefits you get.
As someone who is very into my nutirent, I know how incredibly good it is for your diet to have plenty of fruit , veg and berries, it’s great for your immune system, your skin, hair , nails, your teeth, and so much more, so I think juicing Is a great idea, add a juice fresh everyday into your diet and you’re good to go.
Hi Jayde, you’re right. Juicing is awesome!
I am big on eating fresh fruit and living in Asia there are a lot of exotic ones available. I only have a crappy blender that chops everything to pulp, which is very unsatisfactory and little used. You have provided a careful analysis of options for something much better and at a reasonable price. It’ll take a little time to digest the info, but you have convinced me I can do better with one of your recommendations.
Also, I appreciate the rest of your site which I will be looking over in detail and bookmarking for the future.
Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Blending and juicing are very different. I once owned a crappy blender, I know exactly how you feel.
For more information about blending vs juicing, please watch this video:
I have been through so many juicers in the past two years, that I think I must rather buy something a little more expensive, as the cheaper ones don’t seem to last.
I love juicing for breakfast, but I have five juicers sitting here whose washers have gone and they leak like crazy. The strange thing is I cannot get replacement washers in the correct size for any of them which is very frustrating.
I think I am going to look at the Aicok 1000W a little closer as it looks very sturdy and hopefully will last a lot longer than the guarantee does. You do point out that it is strong and can juice just about anything.
Hi Michel, I can relate to it. I bought several juicers in the last few years, and even some of the more expensive didn‘t seem to last very long. Especially centrifugal juicers tend to break after a few years of daily usage. Never had any issues with masticating juicers. If you’re concerned about durability, I’d go for an Omega juicer, they come with a 15 year warranty.
Excellent article I did, not know that there was a difference in juicers. It makes sense now that I think about it and see the way the two different kinds are. I would really just want the one that gives me the most nutrients out of all of those great veggies and fruits that can be used. What are the nutrients differences from useing juicers or just making smoothies? Is there a difference? What is better for you, juicing or smoothies?
I make both smoothies and fresh juices and didn’t want miss either one of them. However, for me, there’s nothing that can compare to fresh green juices made from organic leafy greens. It never fails to give me an instant burst of feel good energy. There’s definitely a huge difference between juicing and blending.
This is the best resource I’ve found when it comes to juicing vs blending:
Hello Phil, I have explored your whole article and enjoyed every moment of reading. I have reasons to check out some of the juicers that you have listed and you have not made a mistake in defining their capability and benefit.
When you do not have much time, you want a machine that will do the job effectively in a jiffy. And to know that you can source one at an affordable price that will cost you less than $100.00 any one of your selections is worthwhile taking home. Thanks for the exposure.
DorcasW
Hi Dorcas, thank you very much for your kind words, I appreciate it.
Hi Phil,This is a great review with lot’s of information about best juicer under $100. I was looking for perfect blender for wheat grass juice and did not find better one below $100. But I think you have posted many juicer and lexen manual juicer is perfect for me. Do you have any suggestion of better one? I am going to refer it to my other friends and I believe they will also find their perfect choice. Thanks for sharing this great product review.
The Lexen juicer is one of the better juicers for wheatgrass. If you are in need for an inexpensive electric juicer, I would go for the Aicok, but I think you will do fine with the Lexen.
MAN you really know how to advertise these Juicers. I dont have much money but your article really had me thinking about getting out my credit card and putting it over the limit XD!! I like how you added videos to give readers a real life perspective of how the juicers look like. Thats always I plus when I looking for things to buy online.
I am regularly on a diet to try and stay healthy. I have a nice oyster blender but a juicer would be much better! I checked out your recipes for smoothing and I had to save your blog to try out some of those drinks man! really digging the detailed work you have put into this. Thank you.
Haha, thanks Rick 🙂
I love juicing and smoothies, so I really appreciate your advice about which is the best juicer to buy. I had not realised that there were two types of juicer, so I have really learnt something.
One thing I would really like to know – what are the advantages of using juicers as opposed to a simple liquidiser, which is what I have always used? I did have a juicer, but I just found the liquidiser simpler to use. I think it was the centrifugal type of juicer that I had.
I did enjoy watching the videos, and I can now appreciate the difference between the two types of juicer – I really can’t decide which would be the best one for me!
Very many thanks for your really informative post.
Chrissie 🙂
I always wanted to write an article about the differences between a blender and a juicer, thanks for reminding me 🙂
This post covers it really well: https://www.rebootwithjoe.com/…
Wow… firstly what a fantastic and thorough review of juicers. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I was not even aware of the different types of juicers so this review has really educated me. Having gone through the review I’m convinced the The Aobosi Slow Juicer is the one for me. Love the benefits of the masticating juicers and the fact that it does not make a lot of noise. Will be very useful when trying to juice early morning while the rest of the house is still asleep. Thanks for this great review.
You’re welcome. Abbas and Aobosi seems like a perfect match 🙂
This is a very educative information, the difference between centrifugal juicer and masticating juicer is so clear , for me I would prefer and go for the masticating juicer, even though it brings out the juice slowing I like the fact that it can be stored up to 72 hrs. Thanks for this useful information
You’re welcome. Seems like a lot of people go for a masticating juicer 🙂
Hi! Wao! All these Juicers are under $100 USD! Thank you for putting together this post!
I really loved the concept that is back of the Lexen Manual Juicer. And it’s super light: only weighs three pounds! And it’s compact.
But I also love the Breville BJE200XL. I love that its very efficient, super easy to use and compact.
I wanted a juicer. And will end up buying two. LOL. But each one will serve a different porpose. Thank you very much!
Great combination, Henry! Only downside to it, you’ll have to clean two juicers 🙂
I will if I was to pick a juicer I’ll take the masticating juicer because you could store it in the fridge for 72 hours and Aicok Slow Juicer seem to win it for me its silent blending system easy to clean and juice quality are as good as it can get. It comes with a 3-year warranty which is super cool, so why not masticating juicer?
Masticating juicers are a great choice. However, they’re also called slow juicers, because it takes a bit longer to extract the juice than using a centrifugal juicer.
Juicers make life easy for me because I wouldn’t have to start juicing manually with my hand. I love fresh juices and most times I don’t have the time to patiently prepare them, but with juicers, I get them done pretty fast. It’s a good thing to invest in. I’m happy for this article on juicers below $100.
Hi,
Thank you for stopping by.
I didnt know there were two types of juicers. I have a centrifugal juicer going on your definition. Its the Aicok 1000w I think.
It really is a beast and takes up quite a lot of work top space in my quite small kitchen. I do juice a lot of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices through it, but I have a blitz of a few weeks using it then not for a few weeks. I think because its so time consuming to clean and thats the only annoying thing about it. I live in Spain so oranges are great through the juicer. The article was very interesting, the explanation of the two types of juicer, what each one will produce, what you get from each one… I can understand having a quick one, we are all for quickness nowadays and unless you understand, like I didnt, that there are two, the slow one might be a shock. However having realised that the centrifuge one takes out some of the nutrients, I wish I had a masticating juicer! It would be good to have juice for the next 3 days but to be honest, the juice never lasts 24 hours !
Well, cleaning is always the least enjoyable part of juicing. However, you can toss most parts in your dishwasher or rinse them off under running water in less than 5 minutes. It’s best to clean your juicer right after juicing.
Thank you for this review of the different types of juicers. I never knew the difference between centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers. With the masticating juicer, you retain a lot of the nutrients of the fruit, and the juice lasts a lot longer. Thank you for educating me in the different types. I think the masticating juicer is the way to go.
You’re welcome. A slow juicer is a good choice.
Reading about all these juicers has left me carving for some good old natural fruit juice. Its been a long while that I’ve juiced fruits and vegetables. I remember why now. So my parents came back one day and said we will no longer be juicing. I was puzelld, as this was common practice in my home. We usually juice different fruits together every morinig. My parents claimed that mixing certain fruits and vegeables together can be harmful to our health. They said that they had read about it online and that one of our relatives had mentioned this same thing in the past. I could not believe what i was hearing. Please i would like your opinion on this, can juicing certain kinds of fruits together be harmful to our health?
Well, there has been a lot of negative publicity about juicing during the last few years. Mostly because people would go on juice cleanses for too long and didn’t eat any solid food during their cleanses, which isn’t the healthiest way to do it. Fo me, juicing is meant to be a supplement to a healthy diet and shouldn’t replace it.
Juicing certain kind of fruits together isn’t harmful. When you start juicing it’s best to keep the amount of different fruits and vegetables you add low so, so your body can get used to fresh juices.
I really like the Breville juicer. I have been interested in juicing and to be able to find one under $100 is great! Right now all I have is a low-end smoothie maker. Can I also use the juicer to make smoothies? I would sure love to be able to have just one gadget on my counter and not two. This is something I would use daily.
Hi,
Unfortunately you can’t make smoothies with a juicer, you’ll still need a blender for that. But there are small personal blenders out there that take up very little counter space.
You mentioned that centrifugal juicers are not efficient at juicing things like kale or spinach. When it comes to juicing other fruits and vegetables besides these, are there certain fruits and vegetables where there is no difference in efficiency when it comes to juicing? Or will a masticating juicer always be more efficient when it comes to juicing all fruits and vegetables?
Most centrifugal juicers are more efficient at juicing hard produce like carrots or beets. Other than that, masticating juicers are the better choice when it comes to juice yields. If you get a high-end twin gear masticating juicer like the Greenstar Elite it will get more juice out of everything you put in, but these are pretty expensive and cost more than $500.
I am very into health and fitness and one of the things i like to do is make juices from fruits and vegetables. I have been on the look out for a great juicer because i have been sticking to the traditional way of just using a blender which can be annoying at times. I love the fact that you mention a numerous amount but which one do you recommend the most?
I love the Aicok Slow Juicer. It’s a great masticating juicer and very affordable, probably the most bang for the buck out of all the juicers listed here.
Interesting post!
I currently own a Nutribullet with does a fantastic job but I’ll definitely refer to this post once mine decides to die. I didn’t realise there was such a wide range of options for that cheap a price. I also love that you’ve broken down the different types of juicers at the start of the post. You’re right when you say the centrifugal juicers sound like a plane taking off!
Nutribullets (I actually prefer and own a Nutri Ninja) are great machines, but they’re blenders, not juicers. So, if you want to take your health one step further and start making fresh juices, you have to get a juicer 🙂
Nice informative posts. Basically I have always used a blender to juice my fruits which is not so smooth. I’m really thinking of getting a juicer seeing that centrifugal juicers are more cost effective that would be my pick. At least for a first juicer it doesn’t have to be so elaborate. What brand would be very effective for energy saving?
Great decision, Louis.
Well, I don’t think there’s one particular brand that’s effective for energy saving. If you want to save energy, I would go for a masticating juicer. These juicers mostly run at 150 watt, while a decent centrifugal juicer oftentimes needs 1,000 watts and more.
Loved reading your article. It was really informative. I am all about healthy lifestyle and I enjoy starting my day with good smoothie or fresh juice. I’ve had two juicers but they were not so great, there was too much unused fruit and that really bothered me. I heard about Nutri Bullet from TV, looks so good but it is over $100. And I am not sure if it is actually good enough.
From you list i can say that masticating juicers are the best option. I think I am going to check Aicok slow masticating juicer. It has the best performance and great value.
Thank you.
Strahinja.
Hi,
You really can’t go wrong with the Aicok slow juicer, good performance and excellent price. Nutribullets are personal blenders, not juicer. If you want to make fresh juice, you’ll need a juicer.
this is the very best website i have found about juicer there are many types of juicer as i have never seen it before just the basic ones but the difference is lot my favourite one is the aicok also the hamilton beach seems good. I’m checking yr videos and then decide. Thanks for sharing this information.
You’re welcome. I hope you find your perfect model.
Wow, what a great variety of the types of juicers that are available for under $100. I had no idea that there could be such good value at that price and was expecting to have to shell out at least $200 to $300. The dilemma of which type to buy remains, the centrifugal or the masticating juicer.
I am of the mind that I may buy one of each, as there are times when I want a quick juice and do not want to wait longer times the masticating juicer requires. The many models that are quite reasonable at that $100 price mean that I can get both within the planned budget.
In looking at the different models you have included, it seems to me that the Aicok brand has both types, and these are the two I will likely go with. Right now I am using just a regular blender, so I am looking forward to getting these into the house and moving up to a more robust juicing program.
Hi Dave,
I own both centrifugal juicers and masticating juicers and I didn’t want to miss any one of them. If you’re really serious with juicing, it’s good to have both types of juicers.
My wife has Aicok slow juicer and she loves it. She can juice anything with this juicer: Leafy greens, fruits, hard veggies (beets, sweet potato). My favourite is ginger shot in the morning, that’s a great way to start your morning. This juicer works slowly but more efficient. You can almost taste all the goodness in the glass:) That one is my recommendation.
Hi Ainars, thanks for your recommendation and mini review 🙂
I love the Aicok slow juicer, it’s a decent slow juicer and the price is unbeatable.
i always drank juice prepared by my friend and I never juiced by myself. But after reading thisarticle I feel like I need to start juicing myself. I think I’ll buy both the centrifugal juicer and the masticating juicer. I Want to choose between them depending on what I am actually juicing, is this a good idea?
I think in the beginning I would only buy one machine. I would start with a centrifugal juicer and see if you like it, you can always add a masticating juicer later on.
Hello there. Just to inform you I bought Aicok slow masticating juicer, and I am really happy about it. Tried it on orange, apple, pineapple and carrots. Did a fantastic job. I was in doubts if I made the right choice but immediately after first orange, I knew I picked good.
I started making some revitalizing juices and I can say that thickness of juice is great, flavor also. It really does feels amazing.
Thank you so much. Your recommendations are 100% valid.
Strahinja.
Thanks Strahinja, I’m glad you’re happy with your purchase and hope it will serve you for many years to come 🙂
