Hi Glen, I totally agree. I own a Vitamix 5200 for quite some time now (not 20 years though) but it’s worth the investment. Especially, if you want to use your blender daily, Vitamix is the to go brand.

Hi Dan, I’m glad you’ve liked this review. The only portable blender here (I mean battery powered) is the PopBabies blender, perfect if you want to make protein shakes right after the gym.

We have a 20-year old Vitamix blender. And we use it all the time. So it has a place on the kitchen counter. And , yes, it is loud. And strong. The gears that match up the blades and motor are metal. Some blenders use plastic or composite material that will wear out. Considering how long we have had our Vitamix, it was a value purchase worth the money spent.

She asked for Ninja Professional BL610 for months. She wanted something she can use for everyday kitchen life and especially for making her green smoothies. My favourite after workout smoothie recipe: ice, banana, peanut butter, scoop of protein powder and water.

I would definitely be able to find what I need here. I recently decided to include ice cube in my shakes and did not know my blender wasn’t powerful enough. I ended up damaging my perfectly fine blender which meant I had to get a new one if I was to take my morning protein shakes.

I would be going for a more powerful blender and it seems the Nutri Ninja Pro BL456 would be just right for me.

I am a huge protein shake nut and even I didn’t know that there were so many types of blenders! This review blew me away. I have owned the Ninja Professional and your review of it is spot on. It’s a beautiful blender that is a delight to use. I particularly enjoyed the first section about portable blenders as I have really been thinking about investing in one lately. The ones you discuss have great reviews and I will definitely be narrowing down a top choice in the near future. Thank you for the great information!
