Hi Phil,
I used two blender Ninja Chef 1500 CT805 & Nutri Ninja Pro BL456. What I found is Ninja pro is an awesome blender for professional use. It helps me a lot in my Juice Bar to crush ice. You wrote such an honest review I must say. Best of luck buddy. Keep it up.

You are right, some blenders aren’t made for the job. Crushing ice is one of the more difficult tasks for a blender and requires some more blending power.

Hi,

I own the Nutri Ninja Pro and a Vitamix 5200. They don’t have a self-cleaning function, but pretty much every blender can clean itself. Simply add some warm water, a drop of soap and turn it on for a few seconds.

I have to admit these self-cleaning cycles in newer models are awesome. I had the Vitamix A3500 for 2 weeks at home and I loved the presets. I’m actually thinking about replacing my 5200 for a A3500... we‘ll see.

Ice crushing and every blender with specs, if you are interested in finding the best blender for ice crushing this where you come :)

I had a Vitamix the last 7 years and it did a great job and still going strong, but it’s time for something new. I’m not sure if I go for the new A3500 or a Blendtec, kind of a hard decision. Bookmarked your article and hopefully by the end of next week I’ll have decided.

Not every blender can crush ice, I can tell from my little experience of using blenders. I still remember putting on and off a blender after every two minutes to prevent it from packing up because we were using it crush ice it wasn't meant to crush. this article is indeed very useful in helping people make the best choice as regards to blenders that can crush ice.

I have recently bought a blender for my smoothies and if I have just seen this article a bit earlier I would have definitely gone with this choice… just by reading the article and watching the videos of everything in action got me hooked… Is it the blender or is it the way you put the words together? I don’t but is really love this Article the way everything is broken down.will definitely save this page.. hope you keep publishing articles on blenders because I will be coming back to buy one of these when am shopping again…
